Designed and built a native iOS word puzzle game from the ground up in Swift and SwiftUI. Real-time word detection and scoring engine supporting Scrabble-style letter values, bonus squares, wildcard tiles, and cross-word validation. Daily challenges with seeded puzzle generation. Zero external dependencies, clean config/state/view architecture. Monetized with Google AdMob integration.
AI-powered educational platform using Socratic dialogue to develop critical thinking. Designed LLM prompt architecture that inverts typical chatbot behavior — the AI asks questions rather than answering them. Privacy-first architecture exceeding education compliance requirements.
Led migration of customer loyalty apps from native iOS and Android to Flutter. Designed multi-brand, multi-environment architecture. Decomposed monolith into modular packages. Built integration test suite that became the primary diagnostic tool for upstream service issues. About
I started my career in music — earned a Master's in Composition from Webster University, then completed USC's graduate program in Scoring for Film and Television. Programming turned out to be the same kind of thinking: structure, patterns, systems, building something coherent from abstract rules. I've been doing it professionally for over 15 years.
I've shipped native iOS, native Android, cross-platform Flutter, web, VR, custom kiosk software, and AI-powered applications for clients ranging from Budweiser and Pennzoil to healthcare startups and legislative tech platforms. I work out of the St. Louis metro area and take on remote engagements nationwide.
